In the Winner's Circle

"Three Little Birds" Wins the 2025 Final Sail

In an unforgettable debut, team Three Little Birds clinched first place at the prestigious Final Sail fishing tournament, the last leg of Fish Bluewater‘s Quest for the Crest Sailfish Series, amassing an impressive 20 points over two days of elite competition off the coast of Miami, Florida. The tournament marked the team’s first-ever experience in competitive fishing, making the victory even more remarkable.

Fishing aboard their Invincible Open Fisherman, Three Little Birds was captained by Tyler Walsh, whose knowledge and leadership helped the squad outpace some of the most seasoned competitive sailfish teams in South Florida.

At the heart of the team’s success were owner Drew Gaudet and his son, Noah, who led the charge with focus, grit, and seamless coordination. Their standout performance helped Three Little Birds rise above a field stacked with elite competitors and established tournament winners.

“Fishing Final Sail and walking away with both the daily and overall win was a surreal experience,” said angler Noah Gaudet. “We bought our 42′ Invincible about two years ago and have spent countless hours running it throughout South Florida and on trips to The Bahamas. A few months back, my close friend and Captain Tyler Walsh and I decided to enter Final Sail just to see how we’d do — what started as a trial quickly became an obsession. After feeling the adrenaline of tournament fishing and the thrill of releasing a double to lock in the win, we were hooked. None of this would’ve been possible without our incredible team and our Invincible. Fishing over 20 hours in rough conditions and feeling completely confident in the boat says it all. We continue to be blown away by how this boat performs and can’t wait for the summer series and next sailfish season.”

Captain Tyler Walsh also weighed in, saying “During the week leading up to Final Sail, all I could think about was where we were going to fish and how rough it would be. I was able to focus and maneuver the boat with ease, despite the 25+ knot winds and 8- to 12-foot waves. We released the majority of our fish in under five minutes and the 42′ Invincible’s performance in adverse conditions played a huge role in our success. I’ve loved the way the boat has fished so far and am excited to fish it even harder in future.”

With a powerful debut and a first-place finish in hand, Three Little Birds has quickly established itself as a team to watch on the tournament circuit.
