What initially drew you to Invincible?
“The initial draw to the boat was mainly performance with hull design. Where we are, every detail matters and knowing what goes into every Invincible cat with the Morrelli & Melvin design and proven Invincible build quality makes the difference. We also appreciated the ability to communicate directly with the factory to make sure the final product delivered on every level for our unique operation.”
How does the boat perform when conditions get rough?
“This boat has allowed us to chase fish far into zones long considered “crazy” distances. We can now do it all in a day and be back to shore to sleep in our own beds. As far as sea state goes… it’s not about the boat getting beat up—we know it can handle the long runs in unforgiving seas. When we’re gearing up for epic adventures beyond the horizon, we know the boat is going to perform every time.”

How has your Invincible improved your charter operation?
“The range of the boat has completely changed what we can do on a full-day trip with clients. Long runs offshore are part of the game out here, but being able to provide our guests with comfort that doesn’t sacrifice the boat’s performance when we get to the fish is crucial. We have had days when we run well over 300 miles chasing big Pacific bluefin. As long as the fuel tanks are full, I know the boat is going to get us to the fish and back home. For a 33-foot platform, our cat provides plenty of room and lots of storage, giving us the ability to take on adventures normally reserved for much larger vessels.”
What are some of the memorable moments you've had on the boat?
“One particular memory we share have is being behind the islands and we were spotting fish everywhere we looked with the binoculars. Being able to drop divers, load up a tuna, blast at 55mph to the next spot of fish on the horizon, then repeat felt like true freedom. Hard to put into words.
We also think back to clients walking up to the boat and being STOKED as soon as they see it. That feeling usually lasts throughout the trip, as speed and comfort is simply unmatched. Plus, the boat looks like a killing machine which makes everyone happy.”
